Incontinence Issues.

Regain freedom and independence with our 12-week Continence Program, designed to help your participant regain or restore pelvic floor, bladder/ bowel control and improve continence confidence in daily life. No embarrassment invasive pelvic floor assessments required. Through targeted, individualised pelvic floor, core and lower limb strength training combined with key educational sessions, your participant will learn proven strategies to manage symptoms, strengthen control, and prevent future issues — helping them stay active, independent, and confident for longer.

Program Overview

Through targeted strengthening and essential education, participants learn effective strategies to manage symptoms, enhance continence confidence, and maintain long-term independence.

Ideal Program Candidate:

  • Stress or urge incontinence
  • Urinary/ faecal leaking
  • Incomplete emptying
  • Increased urinary frequency or need to toilet regularly overnight
  • those recovering from prostate, urogynaecological, or bladder surgery.

Program Goals & Outcomes:

  • Improve continence and control
  • building general fitness, strength, and confidence
  • develop and improve practical continence management strategies
  • education on topics such as healthy toileting habits, medications, exercise, diet & fluid intake, use of correct continence aids to maximise function
  • review for aid to maintain/ improve independence with personal hygiene & continence

Program Structure/ Inclusions

Assessment:Comprehensive multidisciplinary individualised assessments with clearly defined SMART goals that align with the participant’s goal plan and desired functional outcomes (2.5hr assessment & report in person)
Program Discharge:Exit plan outlining goals achieved during the program, services received and multidisciplinary team recommendations for functional requirements post program (2.5hr reassessment & report in person)
Service Evidence:Record of attendance/ goal attainment & progress report
Program Delivery:

All options run for a period of 12-week duration 1 hour exercise sessions

6 x education sessions (6 x 30 min sessions)

Individualised home exercise program, diary and self-management education

Tea & coffee provided post session (centre-based sessions only)

Option 1

Best Practice

An ideal choice for individuals who are new to pelvic floor training, may find it difficult to begin on their own, and would benefit from expert guidance, motivation, and professional support to build confidence and achieve effective results.

20 x 1hr exercise sessions + education
(2 days per week x 10 weeks)

Modes of delivery available, prices vary accordingly: 

  • group centre-based sessions 
  • in-home sessions 

Option 2

Light Touch

Perfect for individuals new to pelvic floor training who may struggle to exercise independently, and who would benefit from expert guidance and motivation—particularly for those with busy schedules that make attending multiple sessions per week difficult, while still ensuring effective, confidence-building results.

12 x 1hr exercise sessions + education
(1 day per week x 12 weeks)

Modes of delivery available, prices vary accordingly: 

  • group centre-based sessions 
  • in-home sessions
